Brisbane kayak tours
Are you looking for fun things to do in Brisbane? Kayaking is a great way to explore Brisbane, with its perfect climate and beautiful waterways!
Tours range from $55 to $66 per person, depending on the location.
Brisbane, the capital city of Queensland, sits astride a river that leads out to Moreton Bay and Islands. The climate is wonderfully sub-tropical – warm in summer with mild and sunny winter days. Brisbane has the perfect climate for kayaking and canoeing all year round.
Our Brisbane river tours start and end at West End where there is easy access to the river and plenty of free car parking available. Kayak tours travel for many kilometers along the Brisbane River. We travel under the many bridges which cross the river and travel along past Southbank and the Brisbane Cultural Precinct.
Brisbane City Tour Sights
Both daytime and evening kayak tours are available all year round! Travelling along the Brisbane River in a Kayak is a unique way to experience our beautiful Brisbane City. Paddling past Southbank and the Brisbane Wheel is a highlight for many of our clients, together with the unique perspective found underneath our lovely river bridges. There is plenty of time to photograph the sites as well as enjoying the view.
Safety On Our Brisbane Tours
Safety is our number one priority on the Brisbane tour (as it is with all of our tours). We cater for both beginners and more experienced paddlers with a full safety briefing before the Tour. You will also be accompanied at all times by our experienced Tour Guide. Our tours are fun and stress free, with all equipment provided, as well as sunscreen and water.
Tours Outside Brisbane City
Our kayak tours along Tingalpa Creek and around Manly Harbour are also proving very popular. Both locations provide a relaxing trip along quiet waterways.
Tingalpa Creek runs along Brisbane’s south east boundary with Redland City and serves as an important wildlife corridor on the city’s fringe. It has its origin near the Brisbane Koala Park in Burbank and flows into Moreton Bay at Thorneside.
Manly Harbour is a vibrant seaside precinct located just 19 kilometers (25-minute drive) from Brisbane City. Manly Boat Harbour has over 3000 dry standing and wet births making it currently the largest boat harbour in the Southern Hemisphere. It is a well sheltered location which is perfect for kayaking and very popular with locals and tourists.
